Life

Hello all,

It has been a very loooooooong time since I’ve updated this blog. So, I thought I would tell ya a little about what’s been going on with my life.

I started school in August. It’s going great so far. I’m taking 3 journalism classes, art and spanish. So far, I’m still on track to graduate in May ‘11! Yippie!

Over the summer, I worked at TC Pics photographing high school seniors giving them memories to last a lifetime! I loved it. Now, we’re into the fall sports and are starting homecomings soon! I’ve learned so much. And I’ve learned things that will last me forever.

I also have a new addition in my family. My new kitty Sami! He’s growing soooo fast. He’s already 5 months old! I love him and his personality is finally starting to show. You should check out my facebook to see some pictures!

Just a little news

So, I have officially been with my new company for about 2 weeks. So far it’s been great! A lot of fun and I get to do what I love. Besides that, life has been pretty good. I’ve been enjoying my short summer break with my family and Ryan. I also took a trip to Chicago, which I loved! You should check out my facebook to see the pictures! My birthday is coming up… I’m finally not going to be a “teenager” anymore.

A couple of weeks ago, I took some pictures for my second sister Jen— it was product type pictures for her work’s website and I they put them on… I’ll share the links. It’s pretty cool to see my pictures on their website with credit to my name. The photos I took are located at the bottom of the page.

“Patience is a Virtue”

We all here that saying every once in a while, right? Patience is a virtue. I think it really is. I’ve been searching for awhile for a photography job that could take me places. A job that could give me different experiences and allow me to grow as a creative person. I’m searched and searched and my patience has finally paid off. There have been several times where I have been offered a gig or even a job but everything always fell through, but I never gave up in my search. I know what I wanted and I went for it. I have dreams and I follow them. And I waited patiently for these opportunities to come to me.

I’m happy to say that today I found out the latest company I interviewed with offered me a job. It’s a place where they help me further my education in photography as well as let me be myself. I will be getting to photograph all kinds of students for school pictures, at sporting events, during proms. I’ll also get to photograph weddings along with other types of events.

I’m really excited that this opportunity came my way!
